Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients (see Description).
Second and third trimesters of pregnancy (see Precautions and Use in Pregnancy & Lactation).
Biliary obstructive disorders.
Severe hepatic impairment.
The concomitant use of Telmisartan with aliskiren-containing products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR <60 ml/min/1.73 m2) (see Interactions and Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics under Actions).
In case of rare hereditary conditions that may be incompatible with an excipient of the product (see Description) the use of the product is contraindicated.
