Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Hypersensitivity to other sulphonamide-derived substances (since hydrochlorothiazide is a sulphonamide-derived medicinal product).
Second and third trimester of pregnancy.
Cholestasis and biliary obstructive disorders.
Severe hepatic impairment.
Refractory hypokalaemia, hypercalcaemia.
The concomitant use of telmisartan with aliskiren-containing products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR <60 ml/min/1.73 m2).
