Sinupret Forte Sambucus nigra (elder flower) 36 mg, Primula veris & Primula elatior (primula flower w/ calyx) 36 mg, Rumex crispus (common sorrel herb) 36 mg, Verbena officinalis (verbena herb) 36 mg, Gentiana lutea (gentian root) 12 mg

Indications/Uses

Acute & chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses & the resp tract; supplementary measure in antibacterial therapy.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Sinupret Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr 2 drag tid. Childn 6-11 yr 1 drag tid. Sinupret Forte Adult & adolescent ≥12 yr 1 drag tid. Duration of treatment: 7-14 days.

Overdosage

View Sinupret/Sinupret Forte overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.

Administration

May be taken with or without food: Take w/ some liqd (eg, glass of water). In case of sensitive stomach, take after meals. Sinupret Forte Preferably taken after meals w/ a glass of water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Patients w/ rare hereditary problems of fructose & galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine. Pregnancy & lactation. Sinupret Not recommended in childn <6 yr. Sinupret Forte Patients experiencing nosebleed, persistent fever, severe pain, purulent nasal discharge or unclear complaints; patients w/ sensitive stomach or w/ known gastric disorders. Not recommended in childn <12 yr.

Adverse Reactions

GI disorders (eg, stomachache, nausea). Hypersensitivity reactions (rarely) of the skin (eg, exanthema, erythema, pruritus). Angioedema, dyspnoea, face oedema.
