Thiamine HCl 100 mg, pyridoxine HCl 20 mg, cyanocobalamin 200 mcg
Indications/Uses
Pernicious anemia, beri-beri, certain sensory neuropathies responding to massive doses of cyanocobalamin, patients w/ gastrectomy &/or terminal ileal disease, nausea & vomiting in pregnancy, pellagra, anorexia, prevention & treatment of vit B complex deficiencies especially indicated for childn as high potency supplement, appetite stimulant & growth factor.

Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Cyanocobalamin: Evaluate peripheral blood count & macrocytosis at ½-1 yr intervals in long-term therapy.
Adverse Reactions
Pyridoxine: Severe peripheral neuropathies in long-term use of large doses.
Drug Interactions
Pyridoxine: Reduced effects of levodopa. Reduced activity of altretamine. Decreased serum conc of phenobarb & phenytoin. Requirements for pyridoxine may be increased w/ hydralazine, INH, penicillamine, & OCs. Cyanocobalamin: Absorption from GI tract may be reduced w/ neomycin, ASA, histamine H2-antagonists, omeprazole. & colchicine. Serum conc may be decreased w/ OCs. Vit B12 anemia may be attenuated w/ parenteral chloramphenicol.
