Vitex negundo L. (dried lagundi leaves)

Indications/Uses

Mild to moderate cough due to common colds, flu & mild to moderate acute bronchitis; for relief of reversible mild to moderate bronchospasm in adults & childn ≥2 yr w/ obstructive airway disease eg, asthma & chronic bronchitis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult 10 mL (2 tsp) tid-qid. May be increased as needed. Childn 15 mg/kg/dose (0.25 mL/kg/dose) tid; ≥13 yr 2 tsp tid; 6-12 yr (20-40 kg) 1½-2 tsp tid; 4-6 yr (15.5-20 kg) 1 tsp tid; 2-4 yr (10-15.5 kg) ½-1 tsp tid.
