Hexetidine.

Description

Each 100 mL contains: Hexetidine 100 mg and Alcohol 9%.

Action

Oral antiseptic.

Indications/Uses

Hexetidine, used twice a day, can treat sore throat, gum disease, recurrent mouth ulcers, and other minor mouth infections by killing bacteria and fungi.
Hexetidine, used twice a day, prevents infections both before and after dental surgery.
Hexetidine, used morning and night, kills bad breath causing germs.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Directions: For adults and children above 12 years old, swish and gargle 20 mL (undiluted) for 30 seconds and then expel. Use twice a day. Do not swallow.

Warnings

If symptoms persist or worsen, discontinue use and consult a doctor. This medicine is not recommended for children under six years of age without doctor's advice. Adult supervision is needed for children 6-12 years of age. Use as directed to rinse the mouth. It should be spat out, not swallowed.

Storage

Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
