Quinton Pediatric Nasal Hygiene Spray Mechanism of Action

The Quinton Nasal Hygiene Sprays are nasal sprays containing polyelectrolyte cold-microfiltered seawater solutions. The Daily Nasal Hygiene and Pediatric Nasal Sprays contain isotonic seawater solution (0.09%) while the Action Plus Nasal Hygiene Spray contains hypertonic seawater solution (2.1%). This range of products has been designed specifically to prevent, cope with, and treat common colds, cases of flu, nasal congestion, allergic rhinitis, rhinosinusitis, rhinopharyngitis, dry sinuses, and for use in pre- and post-operative nasal surgery. The Action Plus Nasal Hygiene Spray is specially recommended for use in more serious medical conditions, presenting with worse symptoms that affect the upper respiratory tract.
To produce, Quinton harvests its raw seawater in particular plankton blooms in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean following the original protocol of founder, Rene Quinton, and their safety and effectiveness could possibly be ascribed to this source of maximum biological activity.
