In the event that a dose of Citicoline was missed, take one as soon as the patient can. But if the next scheduled dose is near, wait until that next dose is due and just skip the one that have already missed.

Citicoline should be taken orally with a glass of water. To prevent an upset stomach, the patient may take with food.
