Qlaira Description

The hormone-containing tablet is dark yellow, medium red, light yellow or dark red and round with convex faces, one side is marked with the letters 'DD', 'DJ', 'DH' or 'DN', in a regular hexagon, respectively.
The hormone-free tablet is white, round with convex faces, one side is marked with the letter 'DT' in a regular hexagon.
Qlaira is presented as a wallet containing 26 film-coated tablets containing hormones and 2 hormone-free film-coated tablets.
Contraceptive pills that contain two hormones are called 'combined pills' or 'combined oral contraceptives'.
Each of the 26 coloured film-coated tablets contains a small amount of female hormones, either estradiol valerate, or estradiol valerate combined with dienogest.
26 hormone-containing film-coated tablets in the following order: 2 dark yellow tablets each containing 3 mg estradiol valerate.
5 medium red tablets each containing 2 mg estradiol valerate and 2 mg dienogest.
17 light yellow tablets each containing 2 mg estradiol valerate and 3 mg dienogest.
2 dark red tablets each containing 1 mg estradiol valerate.
Excipient: lactose 46, 45, 48 or 44 mg, respectively.
