Each capsule contains: Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1) 250 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 100 mg, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 500 mcg, dl-Alpha Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) 50 IU, Zinc (equivalent to 27.45 mg Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate) 10 mg.

Vitamin B1 reduces the accumulation of neurotoxic substances in the nervous tissues thus preventing such signs and symptoms as poor memory, polyneuritis, muscle wasting and paralysis.
Vitamin B6 is essential for amino acid metabolism. This vitamin plays an important role in decreasing elevated homocysteine levels associated with several disease processes, including heart disease; it has also been found to improve cardiac functions in high doses.
Vitamin B12 is the nutrient that aids to keep the body's nerve and blood cells healthy. It also helps in the prevention of pernicious anemia which makes people get easily tired and weak. In addition, it prevents the development of degenerative disorders of nervous tissues. Severe deficiency may give rise to extensive mental deterioration.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant which prevents the formation of toxic products formed from polyunsaturated fatty acids. It helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are linked to illnesses including diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
Zinc is an essential mineral for growth, and development, immune function, neurological function, and reproduction. Zinc functions as a cofactor in various enzymes involved in cell division and growth and in the removal of free radicals - making it an effective antioxidant.
Multivitamins + Zinc (Neuroforte Plus Capsule) is used for the following conditions: For the prevention and treatment of vitamins B1, B6, B12 and E deficiencies.
For the prevention and treatment of Zinc deficiency; neuritis, polyneuritis, neuralgias, facial paresis, cervical and shoulder-arm syndrome, rheumatic pains, lumbago, herpes zoster, ischialgia, sciatica, myalgia and numbness of extremities.
For the prevention and treatment of neuropathies of varied origin such as diabetes, alcohol and drug toxicity.
For maintenance of a healthy immune system.
The medicine should be taken orally (by mouth).
One capsule daily or as prescribed by the physician.
Overdosage of Vitamin B-complex may be unlikely because they are water soluble, but symptoms may include the following: Excessive thirst, Blurry vision, Abdominal cramps/nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Skin flushing.
Zinc overdosage may include a dysfunction in the ability to taste, frequent infection, copper deficiency and decrease in HDL cholesterol.
If the patient has taken more than the recommended dosage, consult a doctor or contact a Poison Center right away.
If the patient is allergic to any component of the product.
In conditions associated with iron overload (e.g. hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, beta thalassemia), iron supplement should be avoided.
Do not take more than the recommended use.
Do not double the dose unless recommended by a doctor.
Missed dose: If the patient misses a dose, just take the next dose and the subsequent doses at the usual recommended schedule (i.e once a day).
Consult a doctor: If any undesirable effects occur.
The most common undesirable effects are headache, gastric discomforts and vomiting. Allergic reactions in the form of skin rashes, swelling of the face, mouth, throat or tongue and difficulty in breathing may occur.
Zinc decreases the absorption of cephalosporins, quinolones and tetracyclines. Taking the antibiotic at least 2 hours before or 4 to 6 hours after taking zinc supplement minimizes the interaction.
Concomitant administration with zinc inhibits the absorption of copper and iron. Administer zinc and copper or iron as far apart as possible.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
