Action
It contains arginine, glutamine which may help promote lymphocyte and macrophage proliferation and fish oil which is a rich source of the long chain omega 3-fatty acids EPA and DHA.
Indications/Uses
For the dietary management of critically ill patient who needs high protein and high calories (food for special medical purposes).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Preparation: Mix powder of NEO-MUNE and dissolve in warm water (volume as indicated in Tables 2 and 3) by electric mixer or shake in closed container. (See Tables 2 and 3.)
Sachet: NEO-MUNE powder 1 sachet = 60 g.
1 g powder provides energy 4.23 kcal. (See Table 2.)

Usage: By oral supplementation or tube feeding.
Amount preparation of use is depending upon the patient's requirement individually.
The prepared solution contains 1 kcal of energy per each mL (Osmolarity 400 mOsm/L).
Can: 400 g of NEO-MUNE (1 can) provides 104 g protein and energy at 1694 kcal.
Special Precautions
Not to be used in parenteral administration.
At the start of feeding, the flow rate, volume, and dilution should be tailored to the patient's condition and tolerance.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
If reconstituted product is not consumed immediately, refrigerate (2-8°C) and administer within 24 hours.
Can: Close the lid tightly and store in a cool, dry place.
Once opened, consume within 1 month.
