Direction for Reconstitution: Meropenem for injection to be used for bolus I.V. Injection should be reconstituted with sterile water for injection. This provides an approximate available concentration of 50 mg/mL.
Meropenem for injection to be used for I.V. Infusion may be directly reconstituted with a compatible infusion fluid (0.9% sodium chloride solution, 5% glucose (dextrose) solution) and then further diluted with another compatible infusion fluid.
