Each tablet contains retinol palmitate (vit A) 5,000 IU, thiamine hydrochloride (vit B₁) 2 mg, riboflavin 5' phosphate (vit B₂) 2 mg, nicotinamide (vit B₃) 20 mg, calcium pantothenate (vit B₅) 5 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vit B₆) 2 mg, folic acid (vit B₉) 250 mcg, ascorbic acid (vit C) 60 mg, cholecalciferol (vit D₃) 400 IU, calcium lactate 100 mg, ferrous fumarate 100 mg (equivalent to elemental iron) 33 mg, potassium iodide 75 mcg, magnesium sulfate 5 mg, copper (as sulfate pentahydrate) 1 mg, manganese sulfate 1 mg, cyanocobalamin (vit B₁₂) 3 mcg.
MOLVITE-OB tablet is a special nutritional supplement formulated to provide maximum nutrient values to the pregnant mother and the rapidly developing baby in her womb. Incorporated into each tablet of MOLVITE-OB are substantial amounts of the important nutrients required for a successful gestation and delivery. A daily dose of MOLVITE-OB tablet is also ideal and requisite for the lactating mother, the benefits consequently passed on to the breast-fed infant.
MOLVITE-OB tablet is coated with a layered enteric crust which protects its contents from premature degradation by the gastric acid but allows maximum absorption in the intestinal tract. This special coating also masks the non-palatable tastes of the constituted ingredients, thus contributing to high dosage compliance among patients.

Pregnancy is a delicate condition requiring special nutritional care. During this state when the mother carries and nurtures a new life within the womb, extra care must be undertaken to ensure good health and that of the baby's. The twin tasks of keeping the expectant mother in the pink of condition and of nurturing a healthy unborn baby until birth depend, to a large extent, upon the mother's correct dietary intake and the supply of additional nutritional support.
Good nutritional pre-natal care must always consider that the expectant mother has to share the blood circulation with the baby in the womb, and that the baby's nutrient and oxygen supplies come from re-channeled blood from the mother. Thus, the pregnant mother must receive additional blood-building substances, vitamins, minerals, plus other nutrients in predetermined quantities to keep the body working normally and to ascertain that the baby is well nourished.
