Levetiracetam is indicated as monotherapy in the treatment of: partial onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and adolescents from 16 years with newly diagnosed epilepsy.
Levetiracetam is indicated as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of: partial onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and children from 4 years with epilepsy; myoclonic seizures in adults, adolescents and children from 12 years with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy; and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 4 years with idiopathic generalized epilepsy.
Levetiracetam concentrate is an alternative for patients (adults and children from 4 years) when oral administration is temporarily not feasible.
