Indications/Uses

Hemorrhage or threatened hemorrhage associated w/ excessive fibrinolysis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

1-1.5 g or 15-25 mg/kg bid-tid.

Overdosage

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Active IV clotting.

Special Precautions

Condition which may predispose to thrombosis. Use in disseminated intravascular coagulation. Discontinue use if muscle pain or weakness develops.

Serious thrombosis in disseminated intravascular coagulation use.
