Indications/Uses

Management of nasal symptoms of seasonal & perennial allergic & non-allergic rhinitis in adult & childn ≥4 yr.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Prevention & treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis including hay fever Adult & childn >14 yr 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. Max: 2 sprays into each nostril daily. Childn 4-12 yr 1 spray into each nostril once daily, preferably in the morning. Max: 2 sprays into each nostril daily. Maintenance: 1 spray into each nostril once a day. Elderly Adult dose.

Special Precautions

Not for acute attacks. Active or quiescent pulmonary TB. Patients transferring from systemic steroid treatment. Avoid abrupt w/drawal, prolonged use (>6 mth) & larger than recommended dose. May unmask underlying eosinophilic conditions eg, Churg-Strauss syndrome. May cause a reduction in growth velocity or long term treatment to childn. Discontinue slowly if hypercorticism & adrenal suppression appears. Pregnancy. Childn <4 yr.
