Gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and vomiting, and dizziness have occasionally been reported with guiafenesin and dextromethorphan, particularly in very large doses.
Abuse: Urinary calculi have been reported in patients consuming large quantities of over the counter preparations containing guiafenesin.
