Description
Each capsule contains: Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1), USP 10 mg, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 5 mg, Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) 20 mg, Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) 800 mcg, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 25 mcg, Iron (as Ferrous Fumarate) 164 mg.
Indications/Uses
The product contains Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Folic Acid, Cyanocobalamin and Iron.
This product is used for treatment and prevention of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B12, folate and iron deficiencies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adults: 1 capsule daily or as prescribed by a physician.
What To Do If the Patient Missed a Dose: If the patient has missed a dose just give the next dose and the subsequent doses as the usually recommended schedule, ex. Once a day.
Do not double the dose unless prescribed by a physician.
Overdosage
Signs and Symptoms of Overdose: Vitamin B1: Adults who overdose on Vitamin B1 might suffer from chills, swelling, nervousness, increased heart rate and allergies.
Vitamin B2: Side effects from taking more than 10 mg per day of Riboflavin include sun-induced eye damage, itching or numbing sensations, and orange-tinted urine.
Vitamin B3: A Vitamin B3 overdose can cause liver damage and abnormal gastric ulceration.
Vitamin B9: Extremely large doses of folic acid (exceeding 15,000 micrograms) have been known to cause digestive problems, insomnia, skin reactions and seizures.
Vitamin B12: A Vitamin B12 overdose can lead to itchiness on different body parts and numbness, improper heart functioning, giddiness and regular headaches.
Iron: Doses of more than 25 mg a day can cause fatigue, weight loss, constipation, headache, zinc deficiencies, copper deficiencies, and damage to the pancreas, liver and heart muscle.
What To Do When the Patient Had More Than the Recommended Dose: If the patient had more than the recommended dose, consult a doctor or contact a poison center right away.

When Should the Patient Not Take the Product: If the patient is allergic to any component of the product.
Special Precautions
Care That Should Be Taken When Taking the Product: Do not take more than the recommended dose.
When To Consult a Doctor: If any undesirable effect occurs.
Adverse Reactions
Gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhea, constipation and upper abdominal discomfort are seen with high iron doses.
Stools may appear darker in color.
Drug Interactions
What Other Medicines or Food Should Be Avoided While Taking the Product: Do not use together with antacids and tetracyclines.
Do not use together with chloramphenicol.
It is also important to tell the doctor if the patient is taking, or has recently taken, any other medicines even those not prescribed.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
