Per 450 mg/50 mg FC tab Diosmin 450 mg, hesperidin 50 mg. Per 900 mg/100 mg FC tab Diosmin 900 mg, hesperidin 100 mg
Indications/Uses
Treatment of symptoms related to venolymphatic insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, early morning restless cramps) & functional symptoms related to acute hemorrhoidal attack.
Dosage/Direction for Use
450 mg/50 mg FC tab Venolymphatic insufficiency 1 tab bid. Acute hemorrhoidal attack 3 tab bid for the 1st 4 days, then 2 tab bid for the next 3 days. 900 mg/100 mg FC tab Venous insufficiency 1 tab daily. Hemorrhoidal attack 3 tab daily for 4 days, then 2 tab daily for the next 3 days.
Administration
Should be taken with food: 450 mg/50 mg FC tab: To be taken at midday & evening.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Concomitant use w/ other medicines, herbal or dietary supplements. Pregnancy. Breast-feeding is inadvisable during treatment. Venolymphatic insufficiency: Avoid exposure to sun, heat, excessive standing & being overwt. Acute hemorrhoidal attack: Not a substitute for the specific treatment of other anal disorders. Perform proctological exam & review treatment if symptoms do not disappear rapidly.
Adverse Reactions
450 mg/50 mg FC tab: Anxiety, cramps, drowsiness, feeling of discomfort, headache, hypotension, insomnia, palpitation, tiredness, vertigo; abdominal pain, diarrhea, dyspepsia, epigastric pain, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting. 900 mg/100 mg FC tab: Diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting.
