1.5 kcal/ml, high protein oral nutritional supplement for the dietary management in case or at risk of malnutrition, in particular with impaired glucose metabolism such as impaired glucose tolerance, stress-induced hyperglycaemia, diabetes mellitus.
With clinical evidence from a randomised controlled trial demonstrating positive long-term effects on parameters relevant for the target group (e.g. blood glucose control).
Modified carbohydrate profile with low glycaemic index for improved glycaemic control with fibre.
Adapted fat profile: high in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) contributes to improved glycaemic control and insulin sensitivity - recommended for patients with metabolic syndrome.
Food for special medical purposes.
