Indications/Uses
Relief of painful & inflammatory conditions due to RA, tendinitis, OA, bursitis, & other articular or periarthritic disorders.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take after meals.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Peptic ulcer. Asthmatic patients in whom attacks of asthma, urticaria or acute rhinitis are precipitated by ASA or other NSAIDs w/ prostaglandin synthesis inhibiting activity.
Special Precautions
Possibility of hypersensitivity reactions to Na disulphite in patients w/ asthma. Patients w/ symptoms/history of GI disease, impaired hepatic, cardiac or renal function, porphyria. Patients taking diuretics, anticoagulant or anti-diabetics. Perform periodic monitoring of liver function & blood counts. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
GI disorders, headache, dizziness or vertigo, rash, elevation of SGOT/SGPT, rare peptic ulcer, GI bleeding, hepatitis, hypersensitivity reactions.
