Guaifenesin, salbutamol sulfate.
Each 5 mL (one teaspoonful) syrup contains: Salbutamol (as sulfate) 1 mg, Guaifenesin 50 mg.
SALBUTAMOL is a direct-acting sympathomimetic agent with predominantly beta-adrenergic activity and a selective action on beta-2 receptors. It is used as a bronchodilator. Guaifenesin reduced the viscosity of tenacious sputum and is used as an expectorant. Clarituss Plus provides a convenient oral therapy for the respiratory disorders where bronchospasm and excessive secretion of tenacious sputum are complicating factors.
Productive cough as in bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pneumonia and other acute respiratory tract infections.
Two or three times a day.
Under 6 yrs. Old: 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls (5 mL to 10 mL).
6 to 12 years old: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 mL).
Adult: 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls (10 mL to 30 mL).
Or as prescribed by the physician.
Clarituss Plus is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components.
Thyrotoxicosis, pregnancy, non-selective beta-blockers and dental caries.
Headache, urticaria, hypotension, feeling of tension, hand tremor, peripheral vasodilation and transient muscle cramps.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
