Homogeneous, light pink viscous cream with herbaceous and slight menthol scent.
Each 1 gram of cream contains 160 mg of zinc oxide and 50 mg of calamine (16%/5% w/w).
Anti-inflammatory/anti-pruritic.
This medicine contains calamine and zinc oxide which have an astringent action. The cream has a soothing effect on mild sunburn and other minor skin conditions.
A moisture barrier that prevents and helps heal skin from diaper rash, minor burns, cuts, allergic rashes, insect bites, perspiration, irritation, acne, prickly heat, wounds or fistula drainage, hemorrhoids, fungus infection, eczema, impetigo, incontinence and temporarily relieves discomfort and itching.
Cleanse skin, pat dry and apply 2-4 times daily or necessary to promote comfort and protection.
What to do in case of missed dose: Immediately apply as prescribed to promote comfort and protection to affected area.
Signs and Symptoms of Overdose: This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. If someone has overdosed and has serious symptoms such as passing out or trouble breathing, consult a doctor or call a poison control center right away.
What to do when patient has been using more than the recommended dosage: If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor.
When should the patient consult a doctor: Ask a doctor if the symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days.
Do not use the medicine if the patient or patients' children have an allergy to any of the ingredients.
Not for deep or punctured wounds. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor. For external use only.
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects although not everybody gets them. If a child has an allergic reaction to this medicine see a doctor right away. Allergic/irritant reaction (e.g skin rash, red or itchy skin) if patient and patients' child get any of these following side effects, stop use and tell a doctor or pharmacist. They will be the ones to tell the patient what to do.
If patient is having an X-ray, do not apply beforehand as it may affect the outcome of the X-ray examination.
Store and transport not above 30°C.
