Calcium, cholecalciferol.
Each tablet contains: Calcium, USP (equivalent to 1200 mg calcium carbonate) 480 mg, Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3), USP 400 IU.
CALCIUBONE VITA 3 is a combination medication that is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels (hypocalcemia) in people who do not get enough calcium from their diets. It can also be used to treat conditions caused by low calcium levels such as bone loss (osteoporosis), weak bones (osteomalacia/rickets), decreased activity of the parathyroid gland (hypoparathyroidism), and a certain muscle disease (latent tetany).
One tablet twice a day with food and a full glass of water or as prescribed by the physician.
Contraindicated to patients with history of hypersensitivity to components.
People who have renal insufficiency.
Excessive consumption of calcium may increase the risk of urinary stones and urinary tract infection, and reduce the absorption of other essential micronutrients. Before taking this medication, tell the doctor if the patient is allergic to it; or to other vitamin D products (such as calcitriol); or if the patient has any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
Increase in urination, hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, and kidney stones.
Calcium: High sodium and high protein intake increases urinary calcium excretion; caffeine and alcohol.
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
