Calcidin Plus: If the patient is allergic to calcium, vitamin D or any other components of the product.
If the patient has an abnormally high level of calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia) and/or hypercalciuria (e.g. overactive parathyroid glands, a disease of bone marrow (myeloma), a malignant bone tumor (bone metastasis).
If the patient is suffering from kidney failure.
If the patient is suffering from kidney stones or has calcium deposits in the kidneys.
If the patient is suffering from an excessive supply of Vitamin D (hypervitaminosis D).
