Indications/Uses

HTN, alone or in combination w/ other antihypertensives, including diuretics. Reduce risk of stroke in patients w/ HTN & left ventricular hypertrophy. Diabetic nephropathy w/ elevated serum creatinine & proteinuria in patients w/ type 2 diabetes & history of HTN.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Initially 50 mg once daily. Can be administered once daily or bid w/ total daily doses ranging from 25-100 mg. Patient w/ possible depletion of intravascular vol (eg, those treated w/ diuretics) & those w/ history of hepatic impairment 25 mg once daily.

Overdosage
