Each ALDAX 25 mg uncoated tablet contains: Spironolactone BP 25 mg or 50 mg.
ALDAX oral tablets contain 25 mg or 50 mg of spironolactone 17-hydroxy-7α-mercapto-3-oxo-17α-pregn-4-ene-21-carboxylic acid Y-lactone acetate.
25 mg: Spironolactone is a white or yellowish white powder, practically insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, and freely soluble in benzene and in chloroform.
50 mg: Spironolactone is a white or yellowish-white powder, insoluble in water and soluble in ethanol (96%).
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: 25 mg: Inactive ingredients include calcium sulfate, corn starch, flavor, hypromellose, iron oxide, magnesium stearate, polyethylene glycol, povidone, and titanium dioxide.
