Suu Balm Kids Gentle Itch Relief Ceramide Moisturiser

Developed by a Senior Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre - the Specialist Dermatology Centre in Singapore: Low dose menthol for rapid itch relief (within minutes) for dry skin (tailored for paediatric use).
3x skin identical ceramides to moisturise by repairing skin barrier.
Filaggrin breakdown products to restore natural moisturising factor.
pH 5.5 for optimal skin barrier function.
Preservative, steroid, and fragrance free.
Suitable for newborns, infants, school age kids, and upwards.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Hydroxyethyl Urea, Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate, Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, Phytosphingosine, Cholesterol, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Isopropyl Myristate, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Isostearyl Alcohol, Ceramide III, Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Menthol, 1,2- Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Tropolone, Aminomethyl Propanol, Phytostearyl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, PCA.

Itch Relief: Breaks the itch-scratch cycle by stopping itch within 5 minutes of application; this effect is driven by the 1% menthol, which activates skin neuron TRPM8 receptors, blocking the afferent itch signals.
Moisturising: 3 types of skin identical ceramides repair the defect in atopic and dry skin barriers, improving barrier function; this is boosted by restoration of natural moisturising factor with filaggrin breakdown products.

Rapid relief of itch (from low dose menthol) and moisturisation of dry skin (from 5x skin identical ceramides and urea) for atopic dermatitis and other itchy dermatoses for newborn upwards.

Apply as often as needed (even 5-6 times per day) when the skin is itchy and dry. More frequent application will reduce trauma from scratching and improve skin barrier function.

Do not use if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients.
Avoid applying on open/cut skin, apply around the wound instead. Do not use near the eyes or mouth, on sensitive areas, as it may sting if applied to these areas.
