Symptomatic relief of seasonal or perennial allergic & vasomotor rhinitis. Treatment & prevention of nasal polyps after polypectomy. Allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. Prevention of allergic rhinitis.
Allergic & vasomotor rhinitis Adult & childn ≥12 yr 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, may be reduced to 1 spray into each nostril daily once symptoms improve, 6 to <12 yr 1 spray into each nostril once daily, may be increased up to 2 sprays into each nostril for symptoms improvement. Then reduce to 1 spray into each nostril daily once symptoms improve. Treatment & prevention of nasal polyps Adult & childn ≥12 yr 1 spray into each nostril bd.
Discontinue use if vision changes or new symptoms occur. Cushing's syndrome, Cushingoid features, adrenal suppression; cataract, glaucoma, psychomotor hyperactivity, sleep disorders, anxiety, depression or aggression; glaucoma, cataract or eye infection; diabetes; exposure to TB, chickenpox or measles; signs & symptoms of infection eg, persistent fever; severe or frequent nosebleeds, recent nose ulcers, nose surgery or unhealed nose injury. High-dose & prolonged use. Concomitant use w/ steroids for asthma, allergies or skin rash. Not to be used during pregnancy & lactation. Growth retardation in childn & adolescents.
