L-menthol 3.85% w/w, glycol salicylate 2.45% w/w, nonivamide 0.003% w/w
Indications/Uses
Temporary relief of muscular & joint pain eg, due to simple backache, strains, sprains.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn ≥12 yr Apply 1 patch to affected area once-bd. Max: 2 patches, even if >1 injured area is to be treated.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
History of allergic reaction to aspirin or other NSAIDs. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs. Not to be applied to skin wounds or used w/ external heat eg, electric heating pad. Avoid contact w/ eyes, nostrils, other mucous membranes. Not to be used during pregnancy & lactation. Childn w/ history of seizures due to presence of terpene derivatives (menthol).
Adverse Reactions
Application site hypersensitivity & reaction, skin burning sensation, rash, pruritus.
Drug Interactions
Increased risk of bleeding w/ anticoagulants (eg, warfarin), antiplatelets.
