MedEx Dengue Combo Rapid Test Cassette

Rapid chromatographic immunoassay for qualitative detection of dengue virus NS1 antigen, lgG & lgM Ab in human whole blood, serum or plasma.

Serum or plasma IgG/IgM Dropper use: Draw approx 5 microliter of specimen & transfer to specimen well then add 3 drops of buffer to buffer well & start timer. Micropipette use: Pipette & dispense 5 microliter of specimen to specimen well then add 3 drops of buffer to buffer well & start timer. Serum or plasma NS1 Dropper use: Transfer 3 drops (approx 75 microliter) to the specimen well & start timer. Whole blood IgG/IgM Dropper use: Draw up to about 1 cm above fill line & transfer 2 drops of whole blood to specimen well then add 3 drops of buffer to buffer well & start timer. Micropipette use: Pipette & dispense 10 microliter of whole blood to specimen well then add 3 drops of buffer to buffer well & start timer. Whole blood NS1 Dropper use: Transfer 3 drops to the specimen well then add 1 drop of buffer to buffer well & start timer. Capillary tube use: Fill tube & transfer approx 75 microliter of specimen to specimen well then add 1 drop of buffer to buffer well & start timer. Read results w/in 10-20 min.

Specimens containing unusually high titer of heterophile Ab or rheumatoid factor; serological cross-reactivity across the flavivirus group; immunosuppressed patients. Do not interpret results after 20 min. Avoid eating, drinking or smoking while handling specimens. Wear protective clothing & eye protection while performing assay.
