Live vaccines should not be given concurrently with secukinumab (see also Precautions).
In a study in adult subjects with plaque psoriasis, no interaction was observed between secukinumab and midazolam (CYP 3A4 substrate).
Secukinumab has been concomitantly administered with methotrexate (MTX) and/or corticosteroids in arthritis studies (including psoriatic arthritis and axial spondyloarthritis) where no interaction was seen.
