Special Precautions

Not to be used in patients w/ recent nasal ulcers, surgery & trauma. Susceptibility to candida infections especially in diabetics; change in vision or history of increased IOP, glaucoma &/or cataracts. Transferring from systemic steroid treatment. High-dose & prolonged use. Concomitant use w/ alcohol, other CNS depressants; strong CYP3A4 inhibitors eg, ritonavir, ketoconazole. May affect ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal & hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Growth retardation in childn <6 yr. Elderly.
