Pregnancy: Exemestane is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant, because it may cause harm to the fetus. Studies in animals have shown reproductive toxicity (See Pharmacology: Toxicology: Preclinical Safety Data under Actions).
Lactation: It is not known whether exemestane is excreted into human milk. Exemestane should not be used in women who are lactating.
