Indications/Uses
Acne vulgaris in patients from 12 yr when many comedones, papules &/or pustules are present.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply thin layer to clean & dry affected areas once daily in the evening.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy & women planning pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Discontinue use if severe reactions persist & sensitivity reactions occur. Not to be applied to cuts, abrasions, eczematous or sunburnt skin. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight, eg, sunlamps or phototherapy. May cause skin irritation due to propylene glycol. Avoid waxing as depilatory method on affected areas; contact w/ eyes, eyelids, lips & mucous membranes. Concomitant use of cosmetics or acne medications w/ desquamative, irritant or drying effects. Renal & hepatic impairment. Not to be applied to chest or breast area during lactation. Childn <12 yr. Elderly ≥65 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Application site irritation, pruritus; nasopharyngitis, URTI, flu; sunburn; headache. Local cutaneous reactions eg, erythema, scaling, dryness, stinging/burning.
Drug Interactions
Additive irritant effects w/ cosmetics or acne medications w/ desquamative, irritant or drying effects.
