Triamcinolone acetonide

Indications/Uses

Adjunctive treatment & temporary relief of symptoms associated w/ inflammatory lesions or ulcerative lesions of the oral mucosa due to trauma.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply a thin layer, about 0.6 cm on the lesion at night. May be applied 2-3 times daily.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Patients w/ TB, peptic ulcer, or DM. Pregnancy.

Adverse Reactions

Adrenal suppression, changes in glucose metabolism, protein catabolism, activation of gastric ulcers in prolonged use.
