Therasorb Algi Plus

Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic is dressing material, rectangular, square, with lemon yellow or milky white hydrophilic polyurethane foam attached to one side of lemon yellow or semi-transparent polyurethane film.
Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic blocks water and bacteria but passes air. Containing Sodium Alginate, Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic absorbency of exudation is excellent, maintains proper humidity and is a moist environment dressing that inhibits the creation of wound scab. Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic is easy to change because it does not leave any residue, unlike currently available alginate dressings.
Unlike gauze, it does not damage newly-growing germination tissues; so, it causes no pain at the time of replacement at wounds such as skin graft donor sites and also shorten the healing periods of such wounds.
Excellent exudation absorbency.
The product is light and convenient to apply to the curved area.
It can be cut to fit the size of a wound.

Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic can be used for the dressing of leg ulcers, bedsores or surgical wounds. (Surgical wounds mean abrasions, burns, bruises, wounds of operation, bedsores and so on).

Instructions of use: 1. Wash the wound area with running water or saline solution thoroughly.
2. Wipe off the water around the wound area.
3. Cut the Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic bigger than the wound area, remove the double sided tape and attach to the wound tightly.
4. Secure the Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic using a band-aid or bandage tape.
5. When dressing swells, change it.

Pay attention not to use oxidizing agents such as hydrochlorite fluid or peroxide with it as bubble fillers can be destroyed.

The product is prohibited to use for other purposes than medical treatment and intended ones.
As the product is sterilized, it has to be immediately used after opening in order to avoid any contamination.
Do not use it for people having allergic reaction, sensitive skin or skin diseases, and consult a doctor or druggist.
Do not use it for people much sensitive to sticking plasters or wetting agents.
Do not apply it to the infected wound.
Do not use for patients having diabetes mellitus, blood circulatory failures, or easy-to-fester skin.
If the wound is not cured, the expansion/edema/pain/bleeding/smell increase, stop the use and get a proper medical treatment according to the instruction of a doctor or druggist.
Consult with medical professionals in case that the wounds don't heal or expansion, edema, bleeding or smell of wounds increases.
The product is disposable. Never use it again after sterilization.
Be careful not to be hurt when ripping off the wrapping paper.

Store Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic Dressing in airtight container in room temperature (1-30°C), and avoiding high temperature and humidity.
Store Therasorb Algi Plus Hydrophilic Dressing in a clean place avoiding direct light.
Shelf-life: 36 months from manufacture date.
