Dosage/Direction for Use
Santa-E 100 1-3 soft cap or caplet daily. Santa-E 200 1 caplet daily. Santa-E 250 & 400 1 soft cap or caplet or chewable caplet daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Chewable caplet: May be chewed/swallowed/dissolved in the mouth.
Contraindications
Chewable caplet: Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Chewable caplet: May deplete vit A storage & inhibit the absorption or action of vit K w/ excessive use. Pregnancy.
Adverse Reactions
Chewable caplet: Nausea, muscular weakness, headache (low doses of 270-540 mg daily); GI upset, decreased gonadal function & creatinuria (very large doses of 1.3-8 g daily).
