Per 5 mL Pseudoephedrine 15 mg, chlorpheniramine maleate 1 mg

Indications/Uses

Relieves sneezing, nasal congestion due to common cold.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL 3 times daily. Childn 6-12 yr 5 mL 3 times daily, 2-5 yr 2.5 mL 3 times daily, <2 yr As directed by physician.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy hyperthyroidism, urinary retention, heart disorders, DM. Concomitant use w/ other CNS depressant drugs. May affect ability to drive & use machines. Liver & kidney dysfunction. Not recommended during pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn <2 yr.

Adverse Reactions

Insomnia, headache, excitation, tremor, tachycardia, arrhythmia, palpitation, difficult urination, GI disturbance. Chlorpheniramine maleate: Drowsiness, dry mouth.

Hypertensive crisis w/ MAOI antidepressant.
