Allergic conditions, inflammation, asthma and other diseases that require treatment with glucocorticoids such as rheumatism, collagen and skin diseases.
One to four tablets daily. Gradually reduce dose until the lowest effective dose. Should be taken with food.
Hypersensitivity. Peptic ulcer, active tuberculosis, osteoporosis, nerve disorders, kidney and heart problems. Systemic fungal infections and ocular herpes simplex.
Avoid sudden termination of long-term use. Posterior subcapsular cataracts, glaucoma, secondary ocular infections, diabetes mellitus, heart failure. Chronic kidney failure. Children and infant. Elderly.
Fluid and electrolyte disturbances. Sodium retention.
H02AB06 - prednisolone ; Belongs to the class of glucocorticoids. Used in systemic corticosteroid preparations.
