Indications/Uses
Short-term therapy for duodenal ulcers (8 wk).
Dosage/Direction for Use
2 tsp (10 mL) 4 times daily.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr before meals & at bedtime.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Antacid may be given in ½ hr interval. Patient w/ renal failure & dialysis. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
Adverse Reactions
Constipation, dry mouth. Nausea, vomitting, flatulence, pruritus.

Decreased absorption & bioavailability of cimetidine, ciprofloxacin, ketoconazole, digoxin, phenytoin, ranitidine, tetracycline & theophylline.
