Rebamipide

Indications/Uses

Gastric ulcer in combination w/ offensive factor inhibitor (PPI, anticholinergic, or H₂-antagonist); gastritis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

1 tab 3 times daily.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.

Contraindications

History of hypersensitivity.

Special Precautions

Pregnancy. Discontinue lactation while on therapy. Infants w/ low birth wt, newborns, breastfeeding infants, & childn. Elderly.

Use In Pregnancy & Lactation

Adverse Reactions

Shock, anaphylactoid reactions; leucopenia, thrombocytopenia; liver dysfunction, jaundice.
