Indications/Uses
Craniocerebral traumas, condition after brain surgery, CVA & cerebral degenerative processes, prophylaxis of postnarcotic confusional states, condition after cerebral anoxia (following cardiac arrest).

Dosage/Direction for Use
Drag/forte drag Adult 2 drag 3 times daily. Childn 1 drag 3 times daily. Liqd Adult 10 mL 3 times daily. Childn 6-15 yr 5 mL 3 times daily, <6 yr 2.5-10 mL daily.

Administration
Should be taken with food: Take w/ a large glass of water. Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Tab: RA; patients w/ severe kidney & liver function disorders, serious changes in blood counts; autoimmune diseases w/ lupus erythematosus, myasthenia, pemphigus.

Adverse Reactions
Rarely skin rash, rise in temp, GI & hepatic disorder, taste disturbances, over-excitability symptoms, single cases of pemphigus-like skin reactions & lichen planus.
Drug Interactions
D-penicillamine, gold prep, levamisole, pyritinol.
