Topically administered Clindamycin can be absorbed from skin surface. Therefore same as orally administered Clindamycin, the treatment should be discontinued when diarrhea occurs.
Should be prescribed with caution in atopic individuals.
This drug should be used for pregnant women and nursing mothers only if clearly needed.
Safety and effectiveness in paediatric patients under 12 years old have not been established.
