Citicoline.
Description
Each 5 mL contains: Citicoline 500 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Sodium benzoate (preservative), Sorbitol, Maltitol and Sucralose (sweetening agent), Grape essence (flavouring agent).
Indications/Uses
Prevent neurological degeneration through neuro-protective in ocular diseases, eg, glaucoma, amblyopia & ischaemic optic neuropathy.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult: Caplet: 1,000-2,000 mg per day. Syrup: 1-2 x 10 mL daily, with or without meal. Childn: 2.5-5 mL/day.
Special Precautions
Not recommended for use in children, pregnant and lactating women.
Contains Sucralose as an artificial sweetener.
Adverse Reactions
Abdominal pain (epigastric distress), nausea, redness of the skin, headaches and dizziness.
Drug Interactions
Meclofenoxate & levodopa.
Storage
Store below 30°C, away from light.
