Dolutegravir knocks down HIV faster than bictegravir in French study
Final analysis of the BicDol study, presented at AIDS 2026, suggests that a first-line triple antiretroviral regimen containing dolutegravir suppresses HIV more rapidly than one containing bictegravir, particularly among patients with the highest viral loads.

Switch from complex to single-tablet regimen does not compromise HIV suppression
Treatment with the single-tablet regimen (STR) doravirine/islatravir (DOR/ISL; 100/0.25 mg) results in sustained virologic suppression in almost all virologically suppressed adults with HIV-1 receiving complex antiretroviral therapy (ART) regimens, a study has shown.

Injectable HIV Tx trumps daily pill in virally suppressed adolescents
The week-96 LATA trial results demonstrate the superiority of long-acting injectable (LAI) cabotegravir/rilpivirine (CAB/RPV) to tenofovir/lamivudine/dolutegravir (TLD) for maintaining virologic suppression in adolescents with HIV in sub-Saharan Africa.
