Adult men 50 mg as needed approx 1 hr before sexual activity. May be increased to 100 mg or decreased to 25 mg. Max dose: 100 mg. Max dosing frequency: Once daily. Renal or hepatic impairment Consider 25 mg dose, may be increased step-wise to 50-100 mg as necessary. Patients receiving concomitant treatment w/ CYP3A4 inhibitors except ritonavir Initially 25 mg. Patients on α-blocker treatment Initially 25 mg.

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Special Precautions
Not indicated for individuals <18 yr. Patients receiving α-blocker treatment should be stabilised on α-blocker therapy prior to initiating sildenafil treatment. Co-administration w/ ritonavir is not advised.
