Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Swallow whole w/ water, preferably before meals.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Caution in patients w/ glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy & pyloric stenosis. Should not be taken by patients w/ rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. No data available in patients w/ hepatic or renal impairment. Must be recommended to pregnant women & nursing mothers only if absolutely necessary & under close medical supervision. Not recommended for use in patients <18 yr. No data available in the elderly.
Adverse Reactions
Uncommon: Dry mouth, nausea, upper abdominal pain; pruritus, erythema; fatigue, asthenia; headache; vertigo.
