Pine tar, coal tar solution, salicylic acid.
Sebitar contains tar (pine tar) 1% w/w, coal tar solution 1% w/w, and salicylic acid 2% w/w. The base is mild and contains gentle surfactants to help prevent the hair and scalp from becoming excessively dry. Sebitar is free from soap, parabens and lanolin.
Scalp cleansing treatment and relief of the symptoms of psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, seborrhoea (including severe dandruff), eczema, itching scalp.
Use twice weekly up to once daily, if required. Wet hair, apply to the affected area, and massage well. Apply more to the remainder of the scalp and hair. Work into a lather, leave for 5 minutes, and rinse thoroughly with water.
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients of Sebitar.
The healthcare professional will advise if Sebitar is suitable for the patient's condition. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. For external use only.
Avoid eyes. If Sebitar enters eyes, rinse with clean water.
Do not use this product with UV radiation therapy or prescription drugs unless directed to do so by a doctor.
This product contains benzyl alcohol 1% w/w as preservative.
Not recommended for use in patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not use in children under 2 years of age unless supervised by a doctor.
