Pinetarsol Gel contains Tar (pine tar) 1.6% w/w. It also contains surfactants. It has a pH of 6 to maintain the skin's natural protection.
Pinetarsol Gel is a soap-free cleansing gel that can be used as an adjunct treatment to help relieve itchy and inflamed skin conditions.
Reduces inflammation and itching associated with dermatitis, eczema, anal and genital pruritus, intertriginous (especially groin area) inflammation, psoriasis, urticaria, contact dermatitis in infants (napkin area); fungal infections eg, athlete's foot and thrush.
Apply to wet skin. Leave on for 2-3 minutes. Rinse and pat skin dry. Use as often as needed whenever inflamed areas are washed.
Sensitivity to any of the ingredients of Pinetarsol preparations.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If any lather enters the eyes, flush with clean water.
This product contains phenethyl alcohol 1% w/w, methyl hydroxybenzoate 0.3% w/w, and dichlorobenzyl alcohol 0.15% w/w as preservatives.
